While the lineup has not yet been announced, expectations point toward a program closely aligned with the electronic music and EDM market

Goldenvoice, a division of AEG Presents and the force behind some of the largest festivals in the United States, has reached an agreement with the City of Santa Monica to launch a new large-scale music and cultural festival beginning in 2026. The event will take place in an area adjacent to the iconic Santa Monica Pier in California and is scheduled for the fall season in the Northern Hemisphere.

According to the proposal presented to the city, the festival is planned as a single-day event with an estimated capacity of 30,000 to 35,000 attendees. The lineup is expected to feature 12 to 15 artists, with a strong focus on music, alongside experiences such as food and beverage offerings, brand activations, official merchandise sales, and art installations.

The plan includes the festival returning annually, with editions already confirmed for fall 2027 and fall 2028, positioning the project as a long-term addition to the region’s cultural calendar. The initiative reinforces Goldenvoice’s strategy of investing in mid- to large-scale events that combine music, urban experiences, and strong tourism appeal.

While the lineup has not yet been announced, expectations point toward a program closely aligned with the electronic music and EDM market, two segments that continue to expand across the United States. The choice of Santa Monica, one of California’s most visited destinations, also signals a focus on events that connect music, urban landscapes, and cultural tourism.
