The Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Orlando unveiled its official trailer for the 2025 edition on August 13, kicking off the countdown for an event that has become not just a celebration of music, but a major economic engine in Florida.

In 2024, the festival drew an average of 100,000 attendees per day, peaking at 105,000 in a single day. The event injected an estimated $130 million into the local economy, with spending spread across hospitality, dining, and nightlife.

That impact earned official recognition. EDC Orlando received the prestigious Golden Brick Award 2024, presented by the Downtown Orlando Partnership, acknowledging the festival’s substantial economic and cultural contribution to the city.

Hotels in Downtown Orlando also saw a surge, with room rates climbing to $700–$750 per night and record occupancy levels across the weekend, a direct reflection of the festival’s massive demand.

With the 2025 trailer already generating buzz online, expectations are sky-high. For artists, DJs, and producers, EDC Orlando is more than a stage, it’s a platform with undeniable financial and cultural weight. As the countdown begins, Orlando prepares once again to host not just a festival, but a marketplace of the global EDM economy.
