The American summer already has its soundtrack: from June 19 to 22, the forest of Rothbury, Michigan, will once again pulse with the sounds of Electric Forest, one of the most anticipated festivals in the global electronic scene. This year, alongside psychedelic visuals, immersive installations, and otherworldly stage design, it’s the women behind the decks who promise to truly shine, carving out an increasingly solid space among the industry’s biggest male names.
On the main lineup, the spotlight falls on electronic music giants: Tiësto (Netherlands), a trance and EDM icon; Vintage Culture (Brazil), known for his melodic house; Justice (France), with their bold electro sound; FISHER (Australia), a tech-house reference; and Liquid Stranger (USA), a central figure in American bass music. The presence of these headliners keeps the festival positioned as a showcase for major global acts and iconic sounds.
Among the standout women, Canadian artist Sara Landry takes over one of the main stages with her intense, hypnotic, and deeply personal brand of techno. Known for her sets that blend aggression with spirituality, fans and critics alike have dubbed her the “high priestess of techno”.
Beyond the headliners, the undercard features a rich mix of female and gender-diverse artists who help reinforce the festival’s sonic and cultural plurality. Some of the highlights include: Avalon Emerson (USA), Blond\:ish (Canada/Israel), Bambii (Canada), Lilly Palmer (UK/Netherlands), Nia Archives (UK), Pretty Pink (Spain), Say She She (USA), and Shima (Japan).
With its unique atmosphere, Electric Forest blends music, art, spirituality, and nature like few other festivals in the world. Across four days of programming, the event is expected to draw between 40,000 and 50,000 people per day, maintaining its history of full capacity and deep crowd engagement, and reaffirming its status as a true ritual for the electronic music community.
